Not bad at all... May 30, 2010 GBS I picked this up for ~ $300. At that price, it's a VERY good value. My wife uses it for Internet, email, and MS Office. It performs all those functions smoothly and quickly. Don't expect it to run the latest games, but as a basic workstation, you aren't going to go wrong at the $300-$400 price point.
cheaply made no 4th memory card holder ! April 12, 2010 HATER (NYC.) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
it's borderlines on junk cheaply made cheap case amd processor junk can't upgrade memory to a 4 th. card fast but cheaply made like a 60's vm in 2010 world,. save another 100.00 and get a dell dell quality way, much better and plse no cheap 60.00 amd processor for me get i3 i5 from dell for 600.00. -m
Love it! April 5, 2010 Ssydd (Massachusetts) I love this computer! I needed a solid but inexpensive upgrade for my home office, and this computer is a great value. I also love Windows 7, it's really user friendly. Great deal!
Compaq Presario CQ5210F March 20, 2010 T. Jenkins (SD) Compaq has come a long way from there original larger low speed processors that used to freeze up almost every other startup. I can't say enough about this desktop. Setting it up was a breeze with all of the color coordinated wires and fold out instructions. No need to call anyone from support. It has done everything I have asked it to. I have burned and created many dvd's and picture portfolios and have had no problems. Many of these are well over 11 gigs and yet even with the built in video processor it works magic. I "live-stream" netflix and it never slows and buffers the movie like my older one did. It is a very quiet machine for its size and the dual processor allows me to open several applications at once. I mutli game and open 4 to 5 apps and I have no problems with slow downs... Incredible...Oh and the best of all I picked this up for a little under $280 including tax over the Black Friday sale. Thank YOU HP and Compaq "Great Computer!"
What a deal March 12, 2010 W. Geiger (Ocala, Fla) What a deal ! ... I had placed an oder for Compaq CQ5220F Black Desktop PC (Windows 7 Home Premium) and the company that was filling the order was out of it but said they would send the CQ5210 which had more RAM on it for a faster computer. I agreed and the following day I looked up new computer on Amazon and learned that this computer was $153 cheaper. When i called the company they said YES and they would refund the difference what was returned after 24 hours to my credit card. This is a wonderful computer and its taking me time to get use to Windows 7. Many times I will scan something into the computer and then can't find where it put the image.
Slowly I am getting use to this new windows program but for the most part it works better than my old XP professional computer that died. It was cheaper to buy a new computer than try to repair my old unit. This unit also looks for drivers and stuff when you plug things into the usb ports. Its great .
