The product was delivered as promised. This is my second one. The first died after about 1 year. Decided to buy another because is very convienet. So for it works.
Starting it is a bit of a challenge, if you don't press the play button just right it will not play.
I purchased the second one because it is very good for traveling. We take it to the beach and it sounds ok. Can't expect audiophile sound for a product like this but is good for the intended purpose.
Just hope this one lasts longer than the first one.

I was excited to get my ihome speakercase but it konk out after the fith time i use it.I previously bought one for a friend 3 yrs ago and it is still going strong.pros are decent sound ,super portable and protects my ipod.cons static interference at low volumes it is noticible at least with my unit from the beginning.let's see what happens when i get my replacement unit.

So, I got this for my birthday, and so I was really excited. When I realized "oh, I doesn't have an AC adapter cable," It was the first disappointment of many. The buttons are awkward and hard to push, I understand it because of the whole "water resistant" thing, but whatever. So I dealt with that. It also has really poor sound quality. It's very static sounding and not very good, it also barely goes up that loud, I will not be able to hear if I'm more than 20 feet away. And when it gets to loud, it skips, like an old record player, which is annoying. And after having it for about 8 months, it has just gotten worse and worse.
I do not recommend this product.
